This lovely Zanzibar Gem! Known for its glossy, dark green leaves and sturdy, upright growth, the Zanzibar Gem (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is a perfect low-maintenance companion for both beginners and seasoned plant lovers. Its elegant, architectural shape adds a modern touch to any room, thriving in low to bright indirect light while requiring minimal watering.
Habitat: A herbaceous plant growing 45-60 cm tall. A larger pot may be needed when the old one becomes too tight.
Light: Bright indirect light, but can take very low light.
Water: Drought tolerant. Watering once a month is plenty.
Fertiliser: Add a slow release fertiliser to the pot in spring.
